By deriz@insightinnews.com Accor, in partnership with 37 distinguished hotels in the Greater Jakarta region, elegantly hosted an event entitled “Meet ALL Partners” on Friday, November 1, 2024. This exclusive gathering welcomed approximately 300 esteemed clients and business partners of Accor, culminating in a sophisticated movie screening at CGV Grand Indonesia, located in the heart of Central Jakarta. "We extended invitations to all our corporate clients for an event that stands apart from our previous endeavors. Our aspiration is to provide a distinctive experience that leaves a lasting impression," remarked Stephane Bryer, Director of Operations for Greater Jakarta, during his address to the media. Among the prestigious hotels that graced this occasion were Swissotel Jakarta Pantai Indah Kapuk, Pullman Ciawi Vimala Hills, Pullman Jakarta Central Park, Movenpick Jakarta City Center, Grand Mercure Jakarta Kemayoran, and Grand Mercure Jakarta Harmoni. Stephane also highlighted the recent openings of Accor's latest establishments, including Hotel Ibis Styles Serpong BSD City and Movenpick Hotel Jakarta City Centre Pecenongan. Furthermore, Lisa P. Sanjoyo, General Manager of Mercure Jakarta Cikini, provided insights into the year-end program preparations across all Accor hotels in Indonesia. "All Accor hotels, especially in Greater Jakarta, are gearing up for enticing room promotions. These typically feature gala dinners and options for one to two-night stays, tailored to each hotel's unique offerings," Lisa elaborated. In terms of hotel pricing, Lisa remarked that the rates for Accor hotels are remarkably competitive, offering a diverse selection that spans from economical to opulent accommodations. "Typically, establishments located near popular tourist destinations, such as Ancol, experience significant foot traffic during the year-end period. However, several hotels in the city center are also witnessing a commendable occupancy rate as they prepare for an array of upcoming events," she elaborated. At present, the overall occupancy rate for Accor hotels in Greater Jakarta stands at approximately 70 percent. Lisa highlighted that this statistic is notably higher than last year, although it has yet to reach the robust levels observed in 2019. "We are optimistic that our partnerships with corporate clients will flourish in the coming year, particularly with the new government taking office," Lisa said.
