President Prabowo Appointed Former Public Works And Housing Minister As IKN Authority Head

Basuki Hadimuljono has been formally appointed as the Head of the Nusantara Capital Authority (IKN), a prestigious role he assumed following a solemn swearing-in ceremony conducted by President Prabowo Subianto at the State Palace in Jakarta on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. His elevation to this esteemed position is grounded in Presidential Decree Number 151B of 2024. The inauguration commenced with the formal reading of the presidential decree that sanctioned his appointment, followed by the oath-taking ceremony presided over by President Prabowo. The momentous occasion culminated in the signing of the official document by both Basuki and the President. Prior to this significant appointment, Basuki had been serving as the Acting Head of the IKN Authority since June 3, 2024. In addition, President Prabowo Subianto appointed Iffa Rosita as a member of the General Election Commission (KPU) for the term spanning 2022-2027. Following her swearing-in, Iffa Rosita proceeded to the signing table, where President Prabowo also affixed his signature to the document.
