Presidential Communications Office Creates 'Republic Of Indonesia' Instagram Account

The Presidential Communication Office has launched an Instagram account called 'Republik Indonesia'. The account features the red and white flag as its profile picture.

The Instagram account @republikindonesia has received a verified badge, indicated by a blue checkmark. Its bio states, "Managed by the Presidential Communication Office @pco.ri".

The account posted a photo on Monday (October 28), which received tens of thousands of likes and thousands of comments. It has gained over 30,000 followers.

Currently, this account follows only three other Instagram accounts: President Prabowo Subianto (@prabowo), Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka (@gibran_rakabuming), and the Presidential Communication Office (@pco.ri).

Previously, the Presidential Communication Office created an official Instagram account for the President of the Republic of Indonesia. This account is intended as the official account of the presidential institution, not a personal account.

The new account is named @presidenrepublikindonesia, with a bio stating, "Official account of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, General TNI (Ret.) H. Prabowo Subianto". Prabowo Subianto is also the profile picture for this account, which has attracted 15,000 followers.
