President Prabowo Inaugurates A Number Of Ministerial Level Officials At The State Palace

On Tuesday, October 22, President Prabowo Subianto officially appointed several state officials to lead various institutions across the nation, as follows:

- Aris Marsudiyanto was appointed as the Head of the Agency for Development Control and Special Investigations.

- Muliaman Darmansyah Hadad and Kaharuddin Djenod Daeng Manyambeang were appointed as the Head and Deputy Head of the Agency for Investment Management of Daya Anagata Nusantara.

- Moch. Irfan Yusuf and Dahnil Anzar Simanjuntak were also appointed as the Head and Deputy Head of the Hajj Organizing Agency.

- Budiman Sudjatmiko was appointed as the Head of the Agency for Accelerating Poverty Alleviation, with Nanik Sudaryati Deyang serving as Deputy I and Iwan Sumule as Deputy II.

- Haikal Hassan and Afriansyah Noor were appointed as the Head and Deputy Head of the Agency for Halal Product Assurance.

- Tubagus Ace Hasan Syadzily was appointed as the Governor of the National Resilience Institute of the Republic of Indonesia.

- Lodewyk Pusung was appointed as the Deputy Head of the National Nutrition Agency.

During the same occasion, the President also appointed five officials at the ministerial level, namely:

- Sanitiar Burhanuddin as the Attorney General

- Muhammad Herindra as the Head of the National Intelligence Agency

- M Putranto as the Chief of the Presidential Staff

- Hasan Nasbi as the Head of the Presidential Communication Office

- Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan as the Chairman of the National Economic Council.

President Prabowo Subianto has appointed Sunarto, who previously served as the Deputy Chief Justice for Judicial Affairs, as the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court (MA). Sunarto was elected as Chief Justice after receiving 30 votes from the 44 total votes cast during a special plenary session held on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, which was primarily focused on the election of the Chief Justice. He will serve in this role for the 2024-2029 term, succeeding the former Chief Justice, Syarifuddin, who has retired.

Meanwhile, General Agus Subiyanto and General Listyo Sigit Prabowo will continue in their positions as the Commander of the National Armed Forces and the Chief of Police, respectively. Additionally, Prabowo's aide, Teddy Indra Wijaya, has been appointed as the cabinet secretary.
