Denon Prawiraatmadja, the head of the Indonesia National Air Carriers Association (INACA), is advocating for collaboration and innovation in the Asia-Pacific transportation sector. At the Vietnam Aero Summit (VAS) 2025, he emphasized that cooperation between the government and the industry is essential for creating a more efficient and sustainable transportation ecosystem in the region. He also highlighted the significant role of President Prabowo Subianto's policies in shaping the Coordinating Ministry for Infrastructure, led by Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono.
"This policy reflects the government's strong commitment to developing integrated infrastructure that supports the growth of the transportation industry at the regional level," Denon stated in his remarks on Friday, March 14, 2025. He also expressed gratitude to Minister of Transportation, Dudi Purwagandhi, for his responsive approach to addressing challenges in the transportation sector.
"Mr. Dudi's quick and solution-oriented leadership is crucial for maintaining stability and efficiency in the transportation ecosystem in the region," he added. During this event, Denon pointed out the potential of Danantara, the Sovereign Wealth Fund, as a significant opportunity for the transportation industry.
"Danantara is a strategic tool that will lead Indonesia and the Asia-Pacific region into a new era of economic independence. With proper management, this sovereign fund can drive long-term growth in the transportation sector," he explained. The Vietnam Aero Summit 2025, attended by over 200 participants from various ASEAN and Asia-Pacific countries, served as an important platform for aviation industry leaders to strengthen regional cooperation and accelerate the transformation of the aviation sector.
