Erick Thohir Reshuffles The Board Of Directors And Commissioners At Dahana, Appoints Hary Irmawan As CEO

The Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), Erick Thohir, has reshuffled the board of directors and commissioners at PT Dahana, a subsidiary of PT Len Industri (Persero) or the BUMN Defense Holding Defend ID. According to a statement on PT Dahana's official Instagram account on Wednesday (December 18, 2024), Erick appointed Hary Irmawan as the new President Director, replacing Syaifuddin, who held the position since July 2024. This change was formalized in a Ministerial Decree and the decision of the President Director of Len Industri, as shareholders of Dahana, under the number SK-304/MBU/12/2024 regarding the Dismissal, Transfer of Duties, and Appointment of Members of the Board of Directors of PT Dahana.

According to the company's official website, Hary Irmawan, now leading the state-owned enterprise specializing in high-energy materials, particularly explosives, has a long career in the mining sector. He has over 20 years of experience in open pit metalliferous mining and sedimentary deposits (coal), holding various strategic roles in mining across Indonesia, Vietnam, Papua New Guinea, Botswana, Australia, Eritrea, and Malaysia.

Before joining the state-owned enterprise, Hary served as the Head of Mining Technical Services at PT Archi Indonesia Tbk and as the Chief Mining Engineer at PT Tambang Tondano Nusajaya (a subsidiary of Archi Indonesia) from 2020 to 2022. He also held the position of Chief Operating Officer and Chief Mining Engineer at PT Gorontalo Minerals from 2022 to 2024. In addition to appointing a new President Director for PT Dahana, Erick also designated Mohammad Nur Soddiq as the Director of Finance, Risk Management, and Human Resources, replacing Ahyanizzaman. Furthermore, Abdul Haris Atbaro Risiko was appointed as the Director of Operations, taking over from Yusep Nugraha Rubani, who is now the Director of Technology and Development, succeeding Suhendra Yusuf Ratuprawiranegara.

Rina Moreta has been removed from her position as Commissioner in the board of commissioners. Wildan Widarman and Rusdianto have been appointed as Commissioners of PT Dahana. This change in the board is documented in the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises and the President Director of Len Industri's Decree regarding the Dismissal and Appointment of Board Members, with the number SK-306/MBU/12/2024.
