Erick Thohir Appoints Sigit P Santosa As The CEO Of Pindad

The Minister of State-Owned Enterprises, Erick Thohir, has made changes to the board of directors and commissioners of PT Pindad, a subsidiary of PT Len Industri (Persero) or Defend ID. One of the key changes is the appointment of Sigit P Santosa as the new President Director of PT Pindad. This decision was made during an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders held on December 16, 2024.

According to the company's official statement on December 18, 2024, Sigit, who previously served as the Director of Technology and Development at PT Pindad, replaces Abraham Mose as President Director. Additionally, Hera Rosmiati has been appointed as the Director of Production, taking over from Budhiarto, who is now the Director of Commercial, replacing Atih Nurhayati. Prima Kharisma has also been appointed as the new Director of Technology and Development. These changes were approved by Minister Erick Thohir, acting as the Series A Dwiwarna shareholder of PT Pindad, through the issuance of Ministerial Decree Number: SK-300/MBU/12/2024. Furthermore, the changes were confirmed by Bobby Rasyidin, the President Director of PT Len Industri (Persero), as the Series B shareholder of PT Pindad, in accordance with Decree Number: 009/KRUPS/LEN-PINDAD/XII/2024 regarding the Dismissal, Transfer of Duties, and Appointment of Members of the Board of Directors of PT Pindad.

In terms of the board of commissioners, Agus Andrianto has been removed from his position as Vice President Commissioner, along with Anto Mukti Putranto from Independent Commissioner, Widhioseno from Commissioner, and Alexandra Retno Wulan from Independent Commissioner. New appointments include Ahmad Dofiri as Vice President Commissioner ex oficio, Akhmad Syahroza as Commissioner, Abraham Mose as Commissioner, and Surawahadi as Independent Commissioner.

Ahmad Dofiri has been appointed as the Deputy President Commissioner ex officio, with Akhmad Syahroza, Abraham Mose, and Surawahadi taking on the roles of Commissioners. This change in the board of commissioners is documented in the Ministry of BUMN Decree Number: SK-301/MBU/12/2024 and Decree Number: 010/KRUPS/LEN-PINDAD/XII/2024 regarding the Dismissal and Appointment of Members of the Board of Commissioners of PT Pindad. "Congratulations to the new Directors and Commissioners. We hope this change will not alter Pindad's spirit to achieve greater success," said Chairiah, Assistant Deputy for Manufacturing at the Ministry of BUMN. Bobby Rasyidin, the President Director of Len Industri, mentioned that the changes in the board are part of ongoing improvements in corporate governance. He expressed hope that these changes would enhance the commitment to sustainable defense industry development. "In addition to fostering harmonious and mutually beneficial relationships with stakeholders, I hope we (the Holding) can continue to promote sustainable development for the industries within the Defend ID holding," Bobby added.
