Colonel Farid Yudho Appointed Commander Of Paspampres Group A

Colonel Inf Farid Yudho Dwi Laksono has officially assumed the position of Commander of Group A of the Presidential Security Forces (Paspampres). He serves as the "living shield" for President Prabowo Subianto, leading Group A, which is tasked with the direct protection of the president. The handover ceremony for the Group A command was conducted by the Commander of Paspampres, Major General TNI Achiruddin, at the Pelangi Building of Paspampres Headquarters in Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta, on Friday, December 13, 2024. Farid Yudho succeeds Brigadier General TNI Wimoko as the head of Group A.

In his address, Major General TNI Achiruddin emphasized the significant and strategic meaning of the handover ceremony, highlighting the critical implications of human resources in safeguarding the organization and the operational readiness of the unit.

During the event, the Commander of Paspampres expressed gratitude and high appreciation to Brigadier General TNI Wimoko for his previous leadership of Group A. Additionally, the Commander conducted handover ceremonies for the Assistant Operations (Asops) and the Commander of the Detection Detachment (Dandendeteksi) of Paspampres.

Lieutenant Colonel Inf Rofi Irwansyah has officially taken on the role of Asops, while Major Czi Aditya A. has been appointed as Dandendeteksi. Major General Achiruddin reminded the newly joined members of the Paspampres unit to fulfill the trust bestowed upon them by the leadership with utmost responsibility and dedication.
