Utilization Of AI In Beauty Industry Predicted To Become A Trend In 2025

The utilization of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology has become increasingly prevalent across various sectors of life, including the beauty industry. Dr. Arini Astasari Widodo, a dermatologist at Dermalogia Clinic, emphasizes that the application of AI in the beauty sector should be complemented by the artistic touch of skilled professionals. This has led to the emergence of the Aesthetic Intelligent concept, which is anticipated to gain further popularity by the year 2025.
"As we know, AI technology is widely recognized, and the beauty industry is no exception. The Aesthetic Intelligent concept, which merges AI with an artistic approach, is expected to become prominent in 2025," stated Arini during the Re-Opening of Dermalogia Gading Serpong at Acta Brasserie Gading Serpong, Tangerang, on Saturday, November 30, 2024. She noted that many individuals visit beauty clinics with only a vague understanding of their skin issues and often choose treatments arbitrarily.
Understanding one's specific skin concerns is crucial for selecting the appropriate treatment. Arini emphasized that regardless of the cost of the treatment, if it does not align with the skin's needs, it will ultimately be ineffective and result in unnecessary expenses.
"Many individuals who visit beauty clinics tend to select treatments based solely on their preferences, which may not necessarily address their actual needs. This misconception must be corrected; it is essential to first understand their skin issues," Arini explained.
"Consequently, when they opt for treatments that do not cater to their skin's requirements, it is tantamount to inefficiency and waste of resources." Therefore, the introduction of skin care treatments based on the Aesthetic Intelligent concept will facilitate patients in making informed choices regarding the treatments they require.
