Police Promotes 26 Generals Including Two New Commissioner General

The Indonesian National Police Headquarters (Mabes Polri) conducted a promotion ceremony for 26 high-ranking officers in Jakarta on Friday, November 29. Among these officers, two were officially promoted to the rank of three-star general, or Commissioner General (Komjen). The newly appointed three-star generals are Dedi Prasetyo, serving as the Inspector of Internal Affairs, and Chryshnanda Dwilaksana, who holds the position of Head of Education and Training.


Dedi and Chryshnanda, along with several other officers, participated in the solemn promotion ceremony on the same day.


"This ceremony, which was conducted with great reverence, marks a significant milestone in the careers of these high-ranking officers, reflecting their advancement through various ranks, from Brigadier General to Inspector General, and ultimately to strategic positions within the police force," stated Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, Head of Public Relations Division of the National Police.


Additionally, eight officers received promotions to the rank of Inspector General (Irjen). Among the newly appointed two-star generals are Iswyoto Agoeng Lesmana Doeta, who will serve as the Chief of the National Police's Strategic Policy; Rosyanto Yudha Hermawan, the Chief of Police for South Kalimantan; Jayadi, the Secretary General of the National Agency for Drug and Food Control (BPOM); Tubagus Ade Hidayat, Deputy for Enforcement at BPOM; and Cahyono Wibowo, Head of the Police's Special Task Force.


Meanwhile, 16 officials were promoted to the rank of Brigadier General (Brigjen). The newly appointed one-star generals include Eldi Yudianto, a lecturer at the Police Academy; Yosi Muhamartha, Deputy Chief of Police for West Papua; and Victor Alexander Lateka, Director of Threat Response at the Cyber Intelligence Agency (BIN).


Trunoyudo articulated that the promotion serves as a recognition of the hard work, dedication, and achievements of the senior officials.


"This promotion is not merely an acknowledgment of their accomplishments, but also a significant responsibility that they must carry in the future. The National Police remains committed to enhancing professionalism and service to the community," stated Trunoyudo.


He further expressed that the organization expects these senior officials to effectively address the challenges posed by the increasingly complex dynamics of society.


The ceremony concluded with the Chief of Police, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, bestowing the new rank insignia upon the promoted officials.
