Heru Budi Hartono Appointed As Special Staff To State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi

The Minister of State Secretary (Mensesneg), Prasetyo Hadi, has stated that Heru Budi Hartono possesses extensive knowledge and experience in government affairs. Consequently, he has appointed Heru Budi as the Special Staff to the Minister of State Secretary. Heru previously held the position of Head of the Presidential Secretariat (Kasetpres). "Given his experience in Kasetpres, his role in supporting President Jokowi, and his tenure as Acting Governor, he has a wealth of knowledge," Prasetyo remarked at the Krida Bakti Building in Central Jakarta on Friday, November 29, 2024. "We still require his service in the Ministry of State Secretariat," he added.


"Specifically, his title is special staff, and we will continue to engage in discussions. However, with his background, it is clear that his expertise spans multiple areas," Prasetyo noted. He further expressed hope that Heru and the 25 officials appointed that morning would quickly adapt to their new roles.


During the inauguration, Prasetyo also emphasized that the Ministry of State Secretariat serves as the final bastion for President Prabowo Subianto's decisions. Therefore, he stressed that no mistakes should occur. Additionally, he highlighted the importance of efficiency and the government's commitment to combating corruption.


"I emphasize the need for efficiency and our commitment to eradicating corruption, in line with the President's mandate that we must initiate. The Ministry of State Secretariat must set an example," he explained.

This appointment was confirmed by the Head of the Presidential Communication Office, Hasan Nasbi.
