Banten Incoming Votes Reached 100%, Andra Soni Win Election By 57 Percent

According to the preliminary results from two survey institutions, the pair of Andra Soni and Dimyati Natakusumah has emerged victorious over the duo of Airin Rachmi Diany and Ade Sumardi.

Based on the quick count conducted by Charta Politika at 20:58 WIB, the total votes counted reached 100 percent.

Andra and Dimyati secured 57.52 percent of the votes, while Airin and Ade garnered 42.48 percent.

Similarly, the quick count from Voxpol Center at 21:06 WIB also reported a complete tally of 100 percent.

The results indicated that Andra and Dimyati achieved 56.94 percent, whereas Airin and Ade received 43.06 percent.

The following are the quick count results for the Banten gubernatorial election in 2024 from the two survey institutions:

Charta Politika

- Airin Rachmi Diany and Ade Sumardi: 42.48 percent

- Andra Soni and Dimyati Natakusumah: 57.52 percent

Voxpol Center

- Airin Rachmi Diany and Ade Sumardi: 43.06 percent

- Andra Soni and Dimyati Natakusumah: 56.94 percent

Banten gubernatorial candidate Andra Soni expressed confidence that the majority of the votes contributing to their lead in the quick count originated from eight cities and regencies in Banten. Specifically, Andra highlighted the significance of votes from Tangerang Regency, Tangerang City, and Serang Regency.

"Tangerang Regency certainly provides the largest share of votes, and thankfully, we also performed well in Tangerang City and Serang Regency. Additionally, we have support from Pandeglang and Lebak," Andra stated in Serang on Wednesday, November 27, 2024. (srirahayu@insightinnews.com)
