Kombes Roberto Appointed As Metro Police's Dirsiber, AKBP Ronald As Police Chief For Soekarno Hatta Airport Area

The Chief of Metro Jaya Police, Inspector General Karyoto, presided over the handover ceremony for the newly established Cyber Crime Directorate of the Metro Jaya Police. The position is now held by Commissioner Roberto GM Pasaribu.

The handover event took place at the Metro Jaya Police Headquarters on Monday, November 25. Prior to this appointment, Roberto served as the Chief of Soekarno-Hatta Airport Police. The current Chief of Soekarno-Hatta Airport Police is AKBP Ronald FC Sipayung.

Public Relations Officer of Soekarno-Hatta Airport Police, Ipda Septian Wahyudi, stated that such handover ceremonies are a common practice within the Indonesian National Police. He noted that the leadership transition at Soekarno-Hatta Airport Police is aimed at refreshing and enhancing performance within the police force.

"Congratulations to Mr. AKBP Ronald Sipayung on his new role as Chief of Soekarno-Hatta Airport Police, and best wishes to Commissioner Roberto Pasaribu in his new position," Septian remarked in a statement on Tuesday, November 26.

Septian emphasized that the responsibilities associated with these positions are a mandate. He expressed hope that the existing rotations would lead to positive changes within the police institution.
