The Palace 'Lapor Mas Wapres' Is Vice Presidential Office Program

By reza@insightinnews.com The Chief Expert of the Presidential Communication Office (PCO), Prita Laura, emphasized that the "Lapor Mas Wapres" program is not solely owned by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka. She clarified that this complaint program is entirely a government initiative. "This is not just a program from the Vice President; it is a government program, which means that President Prabowo, Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, and various government officials are all involved in the 'Lapor Mas Wapres' initiative," Prita stated at the Vice Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Thursday, November 14, 2024. Prita reiterated that the 'Lapor Mas Wapres' program has the knowledge and approval of President Prabowo Subianto. She also mentioned that all ministries and agencies are collaboratively engaged in this program. "This is not a personal initiative of the Vice President; it is a government program, which means it is known by the President, has his approval, and all ministries and agencies under this government are actively participating," she asserted. Prita explained that the program was established to allow the public to directly communicate their grievances to the government. The initiative aims to ensure that the government is aware of the issues and complaints from the community that have not yet been addressed. "This program is designed to open a direct complaint channel for the public because we genuinely want to hear directly from the community about their issues and aspirations, as well as to serve as a single input for strategic policy-making," she concluded. Furthermore, Prita emphasized that this program is designed to enhance the existing complaint mechanisms across various institutions and ministries. "What we are doing is essentially aimed at maximizing how state organizers can manage public complaints in a straightforward, swift, accurate, and well-coordinated manner. Additionally, we will continue to explore how the state can provide access for public participation in submitting complaints," she stated.
