This meeting provided an opportunity for both leaders to strengthen diplomatic ties and enhance cooperation across various strategic sectors between Indonesia and Australia. During the discussions, Prime Minister Albanese expressed his appreciation for President Prabowo's global geopolitical initiatives, particularly his inaugural foreign visits to China and the United States. He also expressed hope for a closer relationship and collaboration between Indonesia and Australia, especially in the fields of agriculture, education, and health. "I wish to see increased cooperation between our two nations. I hope this relationship will grow stronger in the future," stated Prime Minister Albanese. President Prabowo reaffirmed the strong friendship between Indonesia and Australia, emphasizing his commitment to further enhancing cooperation across multiple domains. "We regard Australia as a close friend of Indonesia. We aim to deepen our collaboration in various areas, including Australia's participation in Indonesia's economy," remarked President Prabowo. He also acknowledged the existing cooperation between the two nations and encouraged Australia to foster good relations and collaboration with other countries. "Overall, I believe we have managed our relationship very well. I am eager to strengthen all ties with our neighboring countries," President Prabowo said.
