By srirahayu@insightinnews.com The Vice Presidential Palace has commenced the "Lapor Mas Wapres" complaint service as of Monday, November 11, 2024. Following the announcement made by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka via his Instagram account on Sunday, November 10, 2024, several citizens visited the Vice Presidential Palace to voice their concerns. Upon arrival, they were directed to a large room where staff members were prepared to record their complaints. Sapto Harjono, Deputy for Administration at the Vice Presidential Secretariat, indicated that the complaint service is currently able to accommodate 50 to 60 individuals. This limitation is due to the initial constraints of the service. "Given our limitations in terms of personnel and facilities, we will temporarily restrict the number of complainants to around 50," stated Sapto at the Vice Presidential Palace complex on Monday. He further explained that this restriction is also influenced by the operational hours, which are from 08:00 AM to 02:00 PM. However, the team is open to adjusting the capacity based on the flow and development of complaints to serve a larger segment of the public. If the number of complainants reaches 50 before 02:00 PM, the service will continue to operate until the scheduled closing time. "We will monitor the flow of complainants. Currently, we are limiting it to 50 while assessing the situation. This week, we may maintain this limit, but we will evaluate the flow of complaints," he added. "The hours are from 08:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a break, and then from 01:00 PM to 02:00 PM, concluding at 02:00 PM. Therefore, we are indeed restricting the time and estimating the capacity to be around 50 or possibly up to 60 individuals," he concluded. Furthermore, Sapto revealed that the establishment of this complaint service is a direct directive from Gibran Rakabuming. When submitting a complaint, the public will be asked about the substance of their grievance, which will then be further processed by the Vice President's Secretariat team. In addition to on-site complaints, the service will also accommodate complaints via WhatsApp or online platforms. "Yes, complaints will be received from the Vice President's Secretariat staff, and it has been communicated on the Vice President's Instagram that he will also make time to meet with the complainants in person. We have prepared 10 tables here for 10 individuals, along with accompanying staff," explained Sapto.
